In early July, selected projects will participate in parallel tracks for fiction and
non-fiction. Over the course of four days, the lab offers tailored, project-focused guidance, with mentors working closely with each team based on specific expertise and project needs. Alongside these focused sessions, the program includes shared masterclasses and group sessions, where both fiction and non-fiction tracks come together for broader industry conversations.
The Co-pro Lab will invite applications from 1 May onwards.
In the first week of July all selected projects will be part of parallel tracks
for fiction and non-fiction. Across 4 days of the lab we will offer tailored project focused advice from mentors who will work closely with projects that will be matched for specific expertise. The lab will also include general sessions and masterclass where both fiction and non-fiction tracks converge.
The lab is designed as an accelerator that culminates in high-energy Industry Days — a closed-door, by-invitation event in Mumbai.

All projects will be in advanced stages of development, actively seeking partners within India, while also being positioned to engage with international co-producers from countries with active co-production treaties with India.​

The aim is to place projects in decision-making environments that enable mobility, offer credible forward pathways, and connect them to industry patronage and international networks.
Eligibility
We are looking for bold, inventive, original stories that have potential
to stir up conversations, provoke change and bring forth stories from unheard quarters of the world.
Submission Criteria
Applicants are required to submit:

Full feature-length screenplay (shooting script, SWA registered)

Director’s statement

Producer’s vision

Details of any financing secured (with supporting documentation)

Pitch deck, including a clear ask from partners and co-producers

Note of intention outlining why the project is suited for co-production
