An alumni of EAVE (Europe) 2020, he has also been selected to the prestigious BAFTA Breakthrough 2022 Program.

Sonia works at the intersection of Media & Social Impact, working to bring people together to catalyze positive change on global, local & individual levels. After 8 years in the Production & Events space between Dubai & India, alongwith deep experience in the social impact sector, she most recently worked as an Impact Director with Good Pitch India where she built impact partnerships for documentary films. She is currently building The Storiculture World community & looking at multi-modal and impact opportunities for media projects at TSC.

Sruti works in Creative Development at Storiculture. Over the last 5 years she has worked on diverse projects from archival oral history programmes; lifestyle & fashion, ad films and documentaries. Sruti believes in the art of few words and that directly feeds into all her creative work. You will mostly find her cycling and sauntering through the tiny lanes of Aldona.

Previously, she was running Green Grandma, a script consultancy collective, under which she has also produced three award-winning short films.

With a background in Media and Cultural Studies, she has previously worked as a Researcher and Archival Producer with VICE Media. She hopes to engage with rigorous context-based research practices in the film development space, to make it more inclusive and diverse.

I’m a writer, editor, podcaster & creative strategist currently based out of Goa. I’ve graduated in film-making from Prague Film School. While trained in film-making and having dabbled with directing short films & a nonfiction show, I moved to writing full-time.

My writing practise spans screenwriting, fiction and nonfiction. I also produce and co-host an original podcast, Bitches Brew. I’m an alumna of the excellent Dum Pukht Writing Workshop 2019 and my first novel is being represented by A Suitable Agency.

Aviya Chadha

Aviya completed her undergraduate degree in philosophy and subsequently worked as a film curator in New Delhi and in programming at the Mumbai Film Festival and the International Film Festival of India, Goa. For over a year, she worked in acquisitions at Mumbai based, Alliance Media where she helped bring Palme d’Or winning film “The Square”, films of Jafar Panahi , Pedro Almodovar and other auteur driven world cinema to India for distribution and sub-licensing. In 2020, she completed her Masters in International Film Business from the London Film School and The University of Exeter.
